Goodbye 2015

As the end of the year draws near, I am looking forward to 2016.  We had fun and learned a lot at the big Eukanuba shows and events in December.  I showed Zoey in the Specialty Sweeps and classes on Friday and then in the 12-18 month class on Saturday.  We both have some things to work on.  The judges had nice things to say about her but she was a bit skittish in the ring.  There were a couple of incidents that had her freaked out so she pretty much slunk around the ring.  She will get the hang of it soon.  She spent a couple of hours at  the Meet the Breeds booth greeting people stopping by and showing off her ridge to people who have never seen a Ridgeback before.  She did well and we met a lot of nice people.  Our plans for 2016 are to show Zoey locally and get her more comfortable in the ring and also start her on the field Lure Coursing.  Amber may get back in the ring to finish up her Grand Championship too.  We are considering breeding her in the summer.  Trace will be on the field also participating in ASFA and AKC events. I am planning on attending the National breed show in Ohio this year.  It will be my first Ridgeback National event.  Lots of things to look forward to!  Have a great 2016.
