Amber is retired and spayed. She is a master squirrel catcher and keeps up with the younger dogs. She gives her grandkids lessons in hunting lizards and squirrels.

Amber came to us from Frank Murphy of FM Kennels. Frank has been very helpful and supportive with our first show dog. Amber has a great personality and always wants to be with us. She loves to snuggle and HAS to lay at least her head on you. She has no problem climbing on top of another one of the dogs to get where she wants to be. She gets along well with everyone and travels great too. She will do pretty much anything if there is a treat involved. She constantly begs at the shows. She is always on the look out for a hand out and is pretty successful at getting extra bait from whoever walks by! She showed an interest in coursing and has her Senior Courser title. However, she doesn't like that string on the ground that loops the lure around the course. She has found out it can sting if hits you and she is now reconsidering her interest. She received her AKC Champion title at 20 months old. We were thrilled to win Best of Breed her first time in the ring as a new champion. Amber completed her International Champion title winning Best of Breed and a Group 2. She completed her Grand Champion title with limited local showing and we received several BOBOH (Best of Breed Owner Handler) wins too.

Amber had her 1st litter in August of 2016. She has 1 finished AKC Champion from that litter so far. We expect more titles from her first litter as they grow up.
