We started off the year lure coursing at most of the local events. Through March, Trace is ranked #10 in ASFA for Rhodesian Ridgebacks with 53 competing dogs so far. Zoey is still interested in coursing but doesn't like to run the whole course and get so far away from me yet. We will keep practicing with her. We will be coursing a few more times before it gets really hot and then Florida events will take a break until the fall. Our next event is this weekend for an AKC trial in Ocala.
Amber went back in the ring after 6 months and has been doing great! Amber and Zoey received their IABCA International titles in April. Amber went on to a Best of Breed award and a Group 2! I took her to the Zolfo Springs shows and she received a Best of Breed the first day and Select on Sunday. It was hot, hot, hot but she enjoyed hanging out with me. We plan on attending the Deland and Tampa shows in May and June.
We hope to breed Amber this summer! So excited for puppies! More details to follow.
